The salads are super interesting and original. She has a latin flare to her cooking which makes stocking up the ingredients an adventure at the grocery store. These are exciting salads that make a fab weekend lunch, or a hearty addition to any dinner. Here is a photo of the “Smokehouse chickpeas ‘n’ greens salad” we whipped up one Saturday. Some of the fun ingredients in this recipe were the smoked sweet hot paprika and liquid smoke!  Other fun recipes in the book include: Cheezy Buckcrunch and Pepperoni Tempeh Pizza Salad, mhhm, yum!
